I decided we needed them after that meal at Coast, which used the fruit to such effect. I had been slightly wibbling about them, because they do have a bit of a reputation for seeding themselves and becoming invasive.
But the fruit was so delicious (and healthy, though I feel that probably whatever Coast did to them made them significantly less so :-D ) They are dioecious, so I'm just hoping I get some fruiting females in the mix.
Also, they are nitrogen-fixing, which is always cool and I'm hoping that will help the rowans.
