This seems to prove that the sensor cleaning kit (some sealed swabs on sticks and cleaning solution) that I used with some worry to clean my camera sensor has done the trick. No more random blobs on skies, yay!.

I hope the people I know who are being hurricaned at the moment are escaping the worst.

That's a gorgeous photo, is it from one of your upstairs windows?

The worst has past thankfully, now we're just mopping up the aftermath, which in my case was a leak in the ceiling and window. At least we didn't seem to loose power here, or at least if we did, I was asleep when it happened.

Yes, I took photo through the little window in the games room and then cropped out next door's bungalow roof...

A bay window leaked a little. The interior rooms smelled of raw wind and rain. But nothing worse.
