Yesterday's walk: leaves everywhere, cold rain and wind.  We walked in the woods, to avoid the worse of the weather, but still ended up hiding in the shelter of a holly tree from the pelting rain.  Even in their coats, my dogs become so sad in the rain.

And then today the sun came back.  The wind was bitterly cold, but there was a faint warmth to the sun.  I think Brythen has grown out of Mollydog's old coat though. I will have to order him a larger size.

Thanks for those :-)

How are the antibiotics doing?

I got another big box of huge orange antibiotics yesterday, and feel much better. Am almost sure now that I have escaped without having to go into hospital for intravenous things! Result!

Good! :-)

I like angelic Brythen bathed in ethereal light in picture 2, almost like a Good Dog. And his confrontation with the ginormous Az head in picture 3. ("Lalala!" I think he's going. "I do not see you, Ginormohound. See how I stare fixedly into the middle distance!")

I take it you averted the terrible fate of becoming a zombie?

Brythen was a very Good Dog today, and didn't run away at all. Although I have to admit that last week he did steal and dismember the christmas gnome thing that [personal profile] chainmailmaiden gave me, so being a Good Dog is still only happening in patches...

I became a zombie for a few days, but with the aid of piles of bright-orange antibiotics, I seem to be getting out of the Patient Zero zone. Yay! Science!

These pictures are wonderfully dramatic!

Lovely photos. Here, were had a similar (though relatively warmer) pattern of rain-and-wind yesterday and sun-and-wind today. Not many Scenic Hilly Places, though.

Wonderful photos!

That's a proper carpet of leaves in the first shot. We don't seem to have had that here this year... I wish we had a beechwoods somewhere nearby, but it's all oak and ash around here.
