Well, when you put it like that... But no.

I usually overcome this with a combination of cajoling, patience, bribery and when all else fails, dragging.  Dragging is hard work.

That seems like a very useful superpower to have, really. Although I am glad Turnbull cat does not know it.

One of our cats has the Power of Velcro, which is almost as effective...

With that face, he really doesn't need the power of speech, does he?

He is able to be very clear on the subject of Walk Should Not Be Over Yet. Sadly, my ability to give him three-hour walks every day is not great (and also I suspect that if he did get three hour walks every morning, he would soon start demanding 4 or 5-hour ones!)

Love his expression!

Poor Brythen! And poor you!

This made me LOL loudly. That dog is hilarious. When I had my dog Ben he hated to come home and lay depressed all day on the sofa, only coming 'alive' when out round the park, so in the end I realised it's not the length of time we were out, it was the going out, so I changed it to 5 / 6 'quick round the park' walks a day rather than 2 longer walks. Anticipation is everything. :D

Ooh, that's clever!

But did you not find that 6 'time to go home nows' in a day was a problem?

Well, it was easy for me being a lady of leisure, I had it easy at that time. Ben's gone now. :( Come to think of it, it was more like 4 or 5 times a day...I used to walk him before breakfast before lunch before dinner before bed and one other if he was lucky and also if I popped out anywhere...he was my shadow. I miss him loads. Dogs are the best.

Oh you mean, telling the dog it was home time? Well, he did used to drag his feet... :D He'd be depressed by the time we got to the front gate.

LOL. Oh, Brythen! Such a powerful combination of stubbornness and woe!

Awww, that poor oppressed face.
