Good pic? Bad pic?

I'm doing an online photography course at the moment. The more photos I take, the harder I find it to tell the good ones from the bad ones. They all start to blur.

I was photographing the Clitters mine this evening, and came across a bloke with the huuuuuuuuugest camera lens you've ever seen doing the same thing. It must have been 2 feet long at least. I felt very inadequate. ;-)
