WEIRD!

I just had a call - on my business line - from someone who wants to rehome a greyhound puppy. Why would you phone a website development company if you want to get rid of a greyhound ???????

I gave him the number for GRWE. Boggle.

Your reputation as a rescuer of dogs evidently suffuses everything you do; when one looks at your business webpage the secret message 'Save Dogs' flashes in front of one's eyes.

I suspect the secret message was more like 'this woman is a sucker, she might take the hound off my hands tomorrow without me having to pay to feed it while it's on a rescue waiting list'. :-( Fortunately though with 6 cats in the house there is no way I could take an unassessed greyhound even if I wanted to.

... Fingers crossed that he does put the poor beast on a waiting list and feed it in the meanwhile, rather than getting it put to sleep or dumping it :-(((

I am with you there... :(((

"Fortunately though with 6 cats in the house there is no way I could take an unassessed greyhound even if I wanted to."

Feel free to insert the phrase ", two other dogs and a husband who isn't really into dogs" in between the words "cats" and "in"...

If I only had 2 dogs and a husband, I'd feel that I probably had space for an emergency foster dog (or cat) if necessary. It's the cats that make the decision a complete no-brainer.

I'm assuming someone else who knows you professionally rather than personally must have got wind of your involvement with such organizations, and put them in touch with you, though it's odd they didn't start with "so-and-so gave me your number"...
