I just had a call - on my business line - from someone who wants to rehome a greyhound puppy. Why would you phone a website development company if you want to get rid of a greyhound ???????
Your reputation as a rescuer of dogs evidently suffuses everything you do; when one looks at your business webpage the secret message 'Save Dogs' flashes in front of one's eyes.
I suspect the secret message was more like 'this woman is a sucker, she might take the hound off my hands tomorrow without me having to pay to feed it while it's on a rescue waiting list'. :-( Fortunately though with 6 cats in the house there is no way I could take an unassessed greyhound even if I wanted to.
... Fingers crossed that he does put the poor beast on a waiting list and feed it in the meanwhile, rather than getting it put to sleep or dumping it :-(((
If I only had 2 dogs and a husband, I'd feel that I probably had space for an emergency foster dog (or cat) if necessary. It's the cats that make the decision a complete no-brainer.
