bunn: (Sunset hounds)

Thunder rolled... It rolled a six.

Slightly zonked this morning due to ginormous thunderstorm with extra lightning last night.

Az got stressed and had an accident, although thankfully he wobbled downstairs to do it on the hard floor. Brythen became very woe, shook like a leaf and hid in the bedroom.  I thought Rosie Roo was unbothered overnight - but then she brought up her breakfast.
Cats shouted loudly with joy when I came to bring them breakfast, and as usual, seem utterly untroubled.

Here is a selfportrait of me walking the dogs yesterday in extremely wild wind:

And while I was taking a copy of that, I took a photo of these, drawn during a roleplaying campaign last year.  Our party was quite polite, and found the range of greeting cards available from normal shops inadequate.

Love your pictures. I wasn't brave enough to venture out.

Frankly, it was not fun, and I regretted it!

I'd forgotten those cards! "Why are you laughing?" a colleague asked. I paused for a second, trying to decide if it was even remotely explainable. "Oh, just something on the internet," I said.

I notice that in the first picture, the wind was clearly so strong that it has blown two of the dogs clean away.

I wanted to go for a walk yesterday, but decided that low ground would be too squidgy and high ground would be too windy and the esplanades would be too wavy and the cliffs would be too crumbly, so stayed in instead.

Yes indeed. Both Brythen and Rosie Roo blew far across the hillside. Fortunately they got snagged by a helpful passing rabbit before they could be blown out to sea and lost.

So it seems the hounds are right. The rabbits aren't just better on the other side of the fence; they're positively AMAZING! :-D

OMG. Those cards. Never has the clawing out of an eye been so adorbs.

Adorable tiny Cthulhu makes the loss of an eyeball better!

Completely coincidentally, someone I know just posted this (http://vonmeer.deviantart.com/art/Innsmouth-Fishhook-Circa-1919-408862987).

Ooh, that is brilliant!

I love the greeting cards! The normal range is just not adequate when one's love includes arcane scrolls and eye-clawing creatures.

Exactly. So many occasions, and NO CARD TO SUIT!
