What is the point! What IS the point of it?

The actual printed yellow pages has pages and pages of print shops in Plymouth, and piles more in the surrounding area. Yell has 3.

What a pointless, pointless service. If you are looking in the yellow pages, what you want is a big bunch of options. 3 print shops is about as much use as a chocolate telephone if you are phoning round for competitive quotes.

Running the website can't cost *that* much and they charge sooo sooo much for a YP inclusion. I think we paid £230 this year for a mere bold line entry in the Plymouth book and one in the Exeter book (I feel you can't just not be in, it looks wrong).

For £230 for a line entry, they can't serve up a copy of their database record? Bah!

(In case you are wondering, I'm phoning round for prices for Oldies Club christmas cards. If anyone reading this has a good cheap colour printing service they'd recommend, I'd really really love to hear about it! Doesn't matter if it's not round here: I have People most places who can do the actual 'here is a disk' 'thank you here is a credit card' bit.)

I know, they're useless, I was trying to find something the other day and I soon gave up on Yell. I generally use Up My Street instead.

We have our own Reprographics Department here and we do personal print jobs for staff and visitors. I'll ask my boss if we could do the cards for you, unfortunately he's not in tomorrow, but I could find out on Thursday if you'd like. (If he says yes, it's likely to be cheap, as we generally just do cost price or the materials, with a token extra for labour)

I've used Spectrum (in Carlisle) www.spectrumdps.com for TS stuff and they've always done cards etc for the various schools & businesses in Cumbria. Or you could try GFS Print of Weston-super-Mare who printed stuff for Tolkien2005 (sorry don't know a web addy for them).

Hi Bunn. I hope you don't mind me posting in your personal space.
A couple of things. YOu have incredible insight into Greys, and I want to thank you for all the information you are providing. You have been SO much help already! Last night, Sdaie was allowed to sleep on her new bed beside my sister's bed, rather than her kennel, and it was GREAT! She slept like a baby. Today, when she goes to work, she is going to leave Sadie out of the kennel, but in a room with her bed. I sure hope she behaves!
The other thing is...what is up with this CosmicBob person in LJ?
I hope he doesn't end up getting my butt kicked out of there.

Hi Selah_v! you are very welcome. I am learning all the time myself, so I am glad I could be of help to you! I really glad to hear Sadie is settling: she looks adorable.

I don't know cosmicbob, but I think he is seriously overreacting. You might want to just ignore him, (though I have posted on that thread, for what it's worth).

If he had one dog from 12 weeks that was dangerously aggressive AND problems with the borzoi he mentions as well, you have to wonder if the problem was with the dogs don't you? Hmmm.

I agree with you 100%. Aggression comes about with lack of training and socialization. Thanks for the post too :)
