bunnA pea has germinated. Hurray! The lettuce has not. Boo.
I climbed the 2 biggest apple trees. Pleased to discover tree climbing abilities still substantially intact despite advancing years. Pruned the biggest tree with my handsaw, and removed startling quantity of ivy from the smaller one. Didn't manage to remove all of the ivy, but we'll see how fast it grows now it has no roots, hah!
Bought a beautiful linen hat with a big flower on it. Watch it rain for the next 12 months now...
