A foster lurcher is imminent

I've just agreed to take a foster lurcher for Bristol Dog Action Welfare Group for a change rather than Oldies (Oldies has no dogs needing foster in the SW at the moment, they are all up in the North East where we have piles of them and very few foster homes.  Most frustrating.

Rescue dogs and dog locations.

 I started adding this to my previous post but it got long so I gave it its own spot. 

There are people that grump about rescue dogs coming into the UK from Ireland. Why, they ask, should we import dogs when thousands are put to sleep in the UK every year because nobody wants them?

I think there are several things that viewpoint misses:
