Rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb...
Apr. 20th, 2011 11:16 pm I made a big pile of crystallised rhubarb. But I eated it. NOM.
It was rather sticky. Next time I might roll the rhubarb in sugar to make it more handlable. It was rather tasty though. Sort of sharp and toffee-ish.
In other news, I got an Easter card from ex-foster Bob lurcher. It had a picture on it of himself, looking gormless.
And my Actinidia Arguta 'Issai' (obscure relation of the kiwi fruit) has produced some flower buds this year! Only about six of them so far, but it's a start.
