Rosie Roo. She does an excellent coy face.

I'm vaguely amused that they are such a pair of gender stereotypes, Rosie all pink and white and coy faces and elegant legs, and Brythen darker and chunky and a bit rugged. With Mollydog and Az it was the other way round and people always assumed Az was the girl and Molly was the boy. :-D

That one demonstrates why I got Rosie a breakaway collar - I don't entirely trust Brythen not to go pulling at her collar and getting his teeth caught in it, the big lummox.

It's lovely to see them so happy together. I am definitely getting converted to the potential of rescue gaze hounds for future dog companionship.

I think Brythen would ideally like a friend who was a bit more rough and tumble, and Rosie loved Az because he was calm and quietly confident.

But they are both nice natured hounds who enjoy company, so they are getting over the differences!

They make a ridiculously cute couple. Although, really, Rosie will snuggle anyone who will stay still - when Brythen is not available, she's been doing a lot of snuggling by the fire with Footie!
