I wish I could go to this greyhound demo, but I just can't justify the expense of travelling to London (damn you, soffit boards!)

You mentioned these before -- what ARE soffit boards?? I would guess ... a particularly cool and high-tech kind of water-ski used for surfing. Yes, that must be it. Neuromancer

They are board things that fit under the eaves and stop the rain blowing up into the loft. Ours are well knackered and I am fearful for our roof beams if we don't get them sorted this year. Annoyingly, because of the bank and the shape of the house, there are miles of the damn things and they are a git to get at.

I was just looking at the photos at http://www.rykat.org/forums/: looks like there was a reasonable turnout.

Here is a random pic of my lurcher, Az: . He is a bit nervous, so I probably wouldn't have taken him anyway, but my greyhound Mollydog (in icon) would have coped, I think.

thank you! yes he's apparently 3/8 border collie and 5/8 greyhound though i'm not sure how you get 1/8 of a dog! he's a hancock lurcher.
