Actually, it was something that you said in person rather than online that I was thinking of - something along the lines of that you tended not to invent pseudonyms for people because you didn't think it added anything (I think I have that right?).
I don't do this that often, (because I don't actually see all that many people in person!) but I do do it sometime, and afterwards, I wondered why. I came to the conclusion that I do it for my own benefit. Otherwise, I'd forget what I was on about, so I need to give myself a hint.
