We've got snowdrops, crocuses, and daffodils all out at the same time in our garden and some of the nearby cherry trees are starting to blossom. But the only snow we got has fallen as sleet, or flurries in amongst sleet/rain.

I've got crocuses in full bloom and tulips sprouting all over the place, despite the snowfall this morning. . .

At least the crocuses survived. I was worried when they started to sprout at Christmas.

Wow! None of my cherries are showing any sign of life yet.

Christmas crocuses! That is an excess of optimism.

Just sprouts -- not flowers. Didn't start getting flowers until the end of February.

Indeed, during our cold snap I went out and shoveled snow onto the flower beds because it's a good insulator. It may have helped tide them through.

You do live in a lovely (though somewhat daunting, weather-wise) place.
