bunnI went rummaging around the internet to find peasant cottage interior paintings as art reference ideas. These are the two I liked best:
Adriaen van Ostade : Interior of a Cottage 1670. Fancy windows they have in this cottage!
Jozef Israels : Peasant Woman by a Hearth
Can't find a date for this but Israels was around 1824 - 1911. I like the lighting.
