Domains - a plaint

bunnWHY is transferring .com domain names so hard?
Every time I try to move one of the little buggers - say because someone is moving their website, and I don't want to leave the domain name behind, but move all the files and other records to the new system in one go - I get some sort of error and have to retry it. You don't get the error straight away either, you sort it all out and you think it's moved, and then 2 days later you get an email with a raspberry in it and have to start over.
.co.uk domains are nice and go where you put them first time without complaining about it.
