This client I've been trying to get hold of all week emails to say he will definitely call me at 3:30pm today. Fine, say I.
3:30pm: no call.
4pm: I call him. Away from his desk.
4:30pm: still no call. Still away from desk.
I just *know* he is going to ring at 5:10 and want to talk for an hour and a half. Well, if my other client who often does this rings at 5:09, he won't get the chance! Ha!

Date: 2005-10-21 09:30 pm (UTC)I don't know if the other guy phoned as well: if he did he'll have gone through to my sister and given her a late Friday too. Joy. What is it with people who think 5pm is a great time for a phonecall: do they not have homes to go to!
(I am horribly aware that as I work from home I have no right to winge really - even with the evening callers I still 'get home' while most people are still commuting!)
