RIP lawnmower
May. 2nd, 2011 07:00 pmI feel I should have it repaired really, but as a new one will be £90 with free delivery, and there doesn't seem to be any way to get in at the motor through the cheap plastic shell anyway.I'm going to be ungreen and buy a new one.
If I had a flat garden, I'd choose a larger and more robust machine, but when you have three tiny lawns separated by loads of steps, and a further randomly hilly bit full of grass paths accessible only via yet more steps - a lawnmower that advertises itself as only weighing ten and a half kilos has a seductive appeal. Ten and a half kilos is only about the weight of two cats, and not even the biggest ones!
