... and also, a backup home offer if the first one doesn't work out!

We've actually turned down 2 other possible homes which sounded nice but were not suitable for one reason or another (are trying to match them up with other oldies though) Who knew a funny old dog with a ridiculous squashed up nose would be so popular?!

I've never quite understood the squashed up nose thing. My taste runs to long noses and crossed paws, or failing that, spitz types and small dachshunds.

It's a terrible design, viewed objectively : she can't eat very efficiently as her face is the wrong shape, to smell things she has to push her whole face at them, which other dogs find a bit intrusive, and her breathing is noisy. I imagine hot weather or any kind of respiratory infection would be a real problem.

Plus, her hindquarters look very strong and powerful, but in reality, she struggles to push her huge heavy chest up enough to get into a car. And of course the shape of the chest means that she's more prone to bloat.

So on the whole, not impressed with boxer design, either aesthetically or practically. As an individual though, she is a very sweetnatured dog, and very funny!
