I am Tango, which was a bit disturbing to me:

"You are a bit of a mad old bat aren't you? You believe that the vaccuum cleaner is evil, and having no teeth doesn't stop you putting other dogs in their place! Still, you have a very important person in your life and you are deeply in love, and that's the main thing.

It is my first ever quiz, and I am very pleased with it!

I was Issie, which actually seems quite accurate, though I only tend to be noisy after drinking alcohol :-)

You are... Issie the Spinone!

Big, bouncy and noisy, you like to talk and you like to eat! If you want something, you might try hitting people with your paws to get it, but it's all in fun and you love a cuddle. You will definitely not think twice about pinching someone's biscuit - or their Christmas turkey either!

Some of your the options you could choose made me snigger a lot :-)

What do you most want to achieve in life?

To get the pixies out of the bag and eat them

Loved that one!

Lol, if I'd thought about it I'd have guessed you'd get Issie!

By the way when do you forsee a documentary snippet about Oldies in the Crufts coverage, next year or year after?

We did agonise about doing Crufts this year, but it's SO expensive! And the TV coverage always seems to focus much more on the best of breed stuff than it does on the rescue presence anyway.

We're going to stick to the rescue shows for a while I think, and maybe also do the Wag and Bone show, if we can scrape the money together!

Well I didn't mean you doing Crufts so much as the Beeb doing a short on the Oldies as part of their programming on the show.

Oh, that hadn't really occurred to us: I'd assumed that anything like that would focus on the rescues that are actually there at the event, do you think not?

Well I'm not sure, after all surely there's a certain amount of forward planning of the programme coverage: I suppose it may just look at those charities that have an information stand at the event but you never know. Certainly the stuff they had on best dogs, or whatever they were, that you phone in to vote for (the one with the girl with Aspergers, the lady with her hearing dog, or the claustrophobic who comes outside because of her dog), had to have been filmed in advance.

I got Oscar, too. I actually had to think about my answers to this quiz - which is a good thing (since most such quizzes are very silly). I particularly liked the magical powers question, with its shiny sparkles.

"Sally is the Queen! You like to follow the other dogs about (because your eyesight isn't that good). You think the people you live with are possibly a bit mad, but if they want to paint your nails and buy you a pumpkin outfit, well, it's all in fun. You like a good snooze, and you have very fluffy knickers!"

...can't argue with the eyesight anyway! I make no comment on my knickers, and of course I like to paint my own nails ;-)
