Starry night
Nov. 22nd, 2011 09:32 pmThe sky is very dark and the stars are very bright tonight. I can see a car coming down the hill on the other side of the valley, perhaps four or five miles away as the
bunn walks, perhaps two as the crow flies, but I think the crows are all in bed. The engine I can hear is coming from that car, I think, unless there is another car I can't see turning at the same moment : there are no nearer sounds. I can't hear the river at all.
It's very cold, suddenly: I think there might even be a little frost tonight.
