I think they read it and resolve to cause trouble. This morning Brythen managed to pull down one of the walls on his crate, got out, shut Az in the study and Tommy in the shower room and then left a sizable steaming deposit on the landing...

Then he stole a bottle of carpet shampoo. Fortunately I managed to rescue it before he made a hole in it. And this evening, he stole a rather fancy paper bag with ribbon handles that I had saved from Christmas, and tore it delightedly to shreds!

Dogs! Why do I have them! :-D

I keep looking wistfully at new rugs, longing to replace all the stained and chewed ones but know it's pointless.

I should probably congratulate myself that as a lurcher, he's not got *that* much stamina: young collies would be far worse! :-D
