Coursework badly astray boggle

bunnI just had a phonecall from a company in the Midlands. They had just received an item by courier, and on opening it, they found that there was another, badly-wrapped, parcel inside with our company name and address on it. Nosily wondering why, they opened the inside parcel which was falling apart anyway, and found it appeared to be full of GCSE coursework. It was addressed to C. Allan at our address. I don't know a C. Allan.
They just rang me (having googled the address) to find out if I knew what it was and if I wanted it. I have no idea what it could be or why it has our address on it, so could not help. I don't know what they are going to do with it now.
