He was very excited and triumphant when I caught him, but by the time I went to get my camera, he had worked out that he had done yet another No! Thing. :-D
When I was about 13, I was sitting on a generously-filled beanbag in my room, and suffered a sudden attack of scientific curiosity, relating to the zip on the side of the beanbag, and the consequences of unzipping the same. Since I was sitting on the beanbag at the time, and it proved to have no inner bag, the result was very like this picture. (Well, except for the lurcher.) I got to witness a recreation of the Big Bang, reenacted by an infinity of tiny polystyrene balls. Echoes of this Big Bang were still being found many years later, and doubtless still are.
Oddly, my mother was just telling us yesterday of an occasion when my sister (then very small) unleashed a tidal wave of beans from the upper floor of a house, down the stairs.
I imagine they must have been picking them up EVERYWHERE. :-D
It now seems incredible that Beanbags of the Past came without inner linings, but so it was. Unfortunately I'd taken the outer bit off this one to wash it, so it was all delicate and exposed to being Lurchered.
(at least we then didn't get all curious and sniff at the beans and get beans stuck up our inquisitive nose and cost one a very expensive trip to the vet!)

I'm wondering what the object was before it was helpfully reduced to a carpet of little foam balls.
