I have been sent a Christmas card by motetus.  And what a card it is!






Complete with Ginormomoustache, Terrible Tartans and Wild Hair Wig! I keep going back to marvel at it. It's brilliant!  I fear the disguise will only last until he starts making snarky remarks in a strong Roman accent though...

What a fabulous card - thank you for sharing! Family are now wondering why I am sitting at the computer cackling like a madwoman... Motetus is an artistic genius.

Yesss, I agree with the comment above - Servius Placidus' adventures as the best and most cunning spy ever (his own words) is truly a story that needs to be told.

Oh man, his disguise is going to last, like, five minutes. He's going to walk in among the tribesman strong his mustache and thinking "I am the best spy ever," and the tribesman will instantly figure out that he's a Roman spy and...probably take the opportunity to feed him tons of bad information, because you just can't kill someone that incompetent, it's way more hilarious to watch him stroke his mustache and fake a British accent.
