New facilities

The pub has put up a new hitching post!  To replace the old ?Victorian one which had gone rotten and had to be removed.

From experience, horses are surprisingly literate when it comes to helping themselves to sweet apples...

Must be a better year for apples this year - we didn't see a single "help yourself!" box in the village last autumn...

I think our local gardeners are more mercenary, you are more likely to see a '4 apples = 50p' sign in our village! But these were quite small apples...
