The Roo is teased by large black birds

At first, she flew joyfully after them

But they came back.

She tried again, but...

they seemed to enjoy the game.

I had to go round and call her away from the other side in the end, as they appeared to be deliberately blocking her from coming back to me...
Crows or ravens?  This was on Dartmoor, where there ARE ravens, but I tend to assume that pairs of ravens are probably crows...

Ooh, clever corvids.

With the perspective it's hard to tell their size in comparison with Rosie, but they seem more like smallish ravens (or largeish crows? Although the profiles look somehow more raven-like to me).
