Food again...

If one accidentally buys some weird item of food, like swordfish, and then can't work out a) why you bought it and b) what on earth to do with it, this site is rather good: http://fooddownunder.com/ There seems to be no form of food for which it doesn't have a recipe.

Daffodil 'February Gold' is excellent, but would be even better if there were more of them. Lots and lots and lots. Will try to remember this in November.

The cyclamens I grew from seed a few years back are really looking great now. hurray.

Swordfish is a fantastic item of food, and has such a lovely taste of its own that you really don't need to do much to it. On the other hand it is also good with a wide variety of different marinades etc. The only thing is that as it is a large, long-lived fish, it has picked up a fair bit of mercury in its time, so shouldn't be eaten too frequently :-(
