The Hare coursing DVD and Gamekeeping one both have Mollydog on the cover!

This is where he got the originals. I think the licence notes (on what the images can be used for)are fairly clear!

I have contacted Ebay, the web design company/ domain name owners of the image hosting, and the ISP that hosts the server that the pics are on.

Grrrrrrr.

I see the licence does say you may use the image "In printed promotional materials, magazines, newspapers, books, brochures, flyers, CD/DVD covers, etc. "

I know it goes on to say you can't use it for stuff you're selling, but the chap could be acting in good faith - having latched on to the above and not read further.

For example, I went to the licensing link and completely missed your note at the side, which I agree is entirely unambiguous as regards hare coursing.

It does say pretty clearly on the image page itself (under 'restrictions') that "vclare must be notified when using the photo for any public work." - quite apart from my note at the side, which could have been missed, this is a standard feature of the site, and when you search, for example, you can choose to narrow it down to open licence images.

My first message to him did assume it was accidental, none the less, although even if it was accidental, it was still wrong.

However, I am pretty sure that he must have ignored my message, because one of the bidders that I contacted said she had had a second chance offer from him after the winning bidder dropped out. That means he must have logged into Ebay, but has not responded to my message, nor withdrawn the other items he is auctioning using my photos.
