We went to the beach

 So the dogs would be nice and tired for Firework Night, I took them to Freshwater West beach today. The tide was down, so there was a LOT of beach.


Which dog cannot be trusted off the lead on the beach even though she is 13? 


Yes, it is Rosie. She has a tendency to get spooked and race back to the car.


Even though i had brought the liver paste.

She seems to feel happier up in the dunes and by that time Theo had worn himself out racing about and didn't want to play rough any more.


Not every dog can carry off pink and purple stripes.

Theo is so handsome, and Rosie definitely wins in the style competition - the stripes look fabulous on her. :)

(And that is quite a lot of beach!)

She is a supermodel, I sometimes wonder if Theo is getting a little pudgy, but frankly next to her any dog would look round!

Pudgy by comparison to Rosie perhaps, but I think in any other company he'd look just right. :)

Theo would snuggle you delightedly for the compliment (Rosie would probably give you her best arrogant stare, but that's Rosie for you :-D )
