1 baby rabbit torso with 3 legs still attached, no head
1 detached and pathetic paw
2 ears (not attached to torso or indeed, one another)
about 1/4 of a jawbone, in several small pieces

And worst of all:

1 eyeball.

Cats are horrible things.

Yuck! *shivers* Yes, literaly.

I have a (hate) thing about eyeballs. Aged five or six waiting in the bus queue to go home from school the boy behind the boy behind me started boasting about having a pigs eyeball that he was going to have for his tea. This went on for a few minutes before I turned round to see what it was all about, just in time to see the boy between us squeeze the had that was holding the eyeball which was in a piece of kitchen paper. Result with eyeball: gooey mess; result with me: trying very hard not to be sick.

I am very, very glad that it was somebody else who found that. Needless to say, we don't have any cats. (Or dogs for that matter.)

Ick! I am very glad my cats are pathetic failures as cats. They've managed a few mice occasionally, but most of them escape alive, due to my cats' inability to work out quite what to do with a small furry once they've caught it.

They left an eyeball!?!

But they're the best bits, all nice and juicy :-P

(Poor baby rabbit though, not a nice way to go.)

I'm assuming that the rabbit died first, and was then brought inside so that the killer (I'm thinking Kjetil...) could EAT HIS FACE at leisure.

I hope so anyway...

He's catching enough rabbits at the mo that I keep wondering about making a pie.I don't suppose there would be much meat left by the time you'd removed all the bits though.

I once tried feeding one of Kjetil's rabbits to Mollydog, but it made her sick. Figures...

The image of Kjetil as some kind of evil cold-blooded killer of little baby bunnies somehow doesn't fit with with his cute fluffy face. It's a bit like when you see cute otters with blood-spattered paws and mouths, it just seems wrong.

Mmmm rabbit pie - though you are probably right, not much to eat on a baby bunny (especially not when Kjetil has had first dibs).
