Queue Jumped?

 After my whinge in the last post about the Welsh system for covid vaccinations, I decided to have a really good rummage to find out if they were really going to insist on everyone queuing in order with an Authorised Letter. Surely, I thought, some local journalist will have looked into this. 

 

And hurray!  At Wales Online, they HAD looked into it, and found that our local health group was allowing walk-in boosters at certain sites, with priority to the people with letters.  We took the gamble and went off to Haverfordwest, where although they were indeed letting the people with official letters go first, there seemed to be plenty of capacity for the rest of us. (At least from what I overheard, plenty of the walk-ins were also there via Wales Online) . 

 

So we are now all jabbed up to date. (Moderna this time, and I have fingers crossed for no side-effects, but if they come, I can have a day in bed). 

 

 It was nice to see the place all kitted out with Labcold vaccine fridges, since Labcold are one of my website customers. Somehow, that made me feel like I had, in some very obscure way, contributed :-D
