I am ordering a few seeds online.  The DT Brown seed catalogue has the most magnificent range of Salutations to add to your name I have ever seen!

Countesses can order seed, but not Counts. 

I was strongly tempted to choose 'The' but didn't in the end.  Who knows, maybe they check this stuff.  Maybe it's got to be the same as what's on your credit card.

I recall that back when I registered at Sussex University the form had "Rear Admiral" of all things as an option (though I don't think it had "Admiral"?). I wonder how often that got picked?
