I've had one before and they are always glossily printed but utterly generic to the point of being completely useless. I don't think I've ever come across anyone who had a good word for Business Link.

When we were setting up I talked to them in Plymouth, and to a more local business support organisation in Tavistock. The Tavi people sent a gentleman who knew my industry and was actually quite helpful.

Business Link wanted me to pitch my services to them so they could see if they should recommend them to others. They never did so, and anyway I was rather hoping they would help advise me on MY business!

Obviously the local people who were actually useful have now been closed down, whereas BL for no apparent reason, continues to survive and thrive! Feckers.
