Assuming this communication is taking place via email, I'd indulge in a fit of cackling, and then point out with dignity that there might be an issue.
If the communication is in person, I'm not sure I could manage without either snickering or just being extremely awkward about it. =D

I'm also glad that so far the consensus is in favour of the giggles, because Client did NOT giggle back, but gave me Such A Look, and I had to try to stop my giggles and say politely 'perhaps it's just me'

(I'm considered pretty tactful for a programmer. Which is to say "really not remotely tactful" by normal standards)

Your client should appreciate that you are doing them a favour, by modelling a clear and immediate demonstration of the likely reaction of the vast majority of the people who would have seen it if it hadn't been changed - as clearly evidenced by your poll results :-D
