Wilhelmina the Wire Whippet

bunnI decided to experiment with wire sculpture this week.
With actual dog, for scale.
Wire whippet-face.
It was surprisingly easy and quick to make a reasonably large form and stitch it together with wire, although a little hard on the fingers until I got the knack. She was very light at first, so I made her feet out of river-pebbles. The body is chicken wire, reinforced with some galvanised wire for better stability on the legs.
She is quite hard to photograph though.
