I hope everyone reading this will have a really good 2015!

Unless someone reading this is a serial killer, or something like that. In which case I hope you are caught quickly and with minimal collateral damage, and find yourself in prison in a country that will offer you suitable confinement and a reasonable degree of rehabilitation. :-D

I've just realised that I forgot my this blog's tenth birthday, which would have been 22nd December. I'm glad I started it, and I hope it will last another 10 years.

I'm somewhat annoyed to discover that I made a new year's resolution last year to use Facebook less. I think I did stick to that for a while, but have drifted back to it. I don't think I get enough out of it for the time I spend idly scrolling through the many many updates and shares from people I mostly only know peripherally, and usually seem less interesting/thoughtprovoking than LJ - and so I shall resolve this year once again to try to spend more time making things and generally Getting Things Done, and less time on the big F. (I suppose I could set up filters, but I'd really rather just avoid Facebook, which always tends to make me feel like I've eaten too many Pringles).

So far this year in Getting Things Done, I have made three festive graphics for Pp's Shop on the Borderlands. I meant to make them in time for Christmas, but had too much work, but now they are ready for next year.

And now I'm going to make some tea and then see if I can get any further with this story in which Cottia, aged 73, and the great-grandson of the Tribune Placidus solve crimes in the Downs. I've written very little fiction this year, but I do like doing it -- so that would be a good thing to do instead of Facebook!
