Cat continues to emulate game.

Last year's roleplaying dealt with the problem of finding Fankil, Demon of the North Wind.

Now, we are faced with the problem of finding Fankil the cat.  Things had seemed to be going pretty well with Fankil, he was getting more confident and easier to spot -  so we decided to encourage him to leave the small room he's been living in and explore the rest of the house.

This may have been a mistake.  For a while, he shelved himself on shelf v7 in the Shop on the Borderlands, which made him conveniently easy to check on.  But now he seems to have found some more secret hiding place and we have no idea where it is.  He is still in the house, because we heard him last night, eating.  But where he is lurking, we have no idea.

Turned out he was under a chest of drawers! But he actually let Pp stroke him today, so I feel progress is being made.

Turned out he was only under a chest of drawers. We had one that went under the floors once, and I THINK our floors are now catproof. Though admittedly it does often seem that they can teleport.

Pets do have extraordinary capabilities for escape. I got up this morning and one of the rabbits was running around the conservatory. I swear I shut him in for the night :/

Update: aforementioned Houdini rabbit got himself wedged under the coffee table this evening. I genuinely thought he'd somehow escaped and run off :/ pets!!!

We found him! He was underneath a chest-of-drawers, and when Pp located him, he was even able to persuade Fankil to have a little stroke. This is progress!

But this does sound like good progress - I hope the next storage place will be a more visible one again.
