SO, here I am

I made a redbubble shop.

This is my first adventure in selling my photography or my art. I have spent so many years practicing and trying things, taking courses and trying to understand colour, composition, what works and what doesn’t, looking at art in galleries and online and trying to develop an eye.

And now at last I think I am making things that I like enough that I might buy them, so I am wondering if anyone else would like to. And there’s only one way to find out…

Not really expecting anyone here to buy anything, but you could go through the link and click the ‘like’ button  on something if you wanted to be nice - and offer any constructive advice you may have.

I'm planning to try to sell some of my original art on my own victoriaclare.com website too, if for no other reason than the house is getting kind of full of art, but I'm not quite there with that yet.  I'll do a Facebook when I am.

Would you consider stickers? I buy stickers from RB fairly regularly, and I'd get a sticker of Tolkien & Bilbo in Oxford next time I get a batch.

Honestly, I have little idea what I'm doing :-D I think the system turned the 'stickers' option off for most of them automatically for some reason, but I don't know why since it's more than big enough, and it did autoenable some of them. Maybe it thinks stickers should be higher-contrast or vector graphics?

I've turned it on for Tolkien & Bilbo in Oxford, anyway.

I have no idea how the artist's side of RB works, so I can't even venture a guess. But I've seen plenty of other art show up in the stickers section (BohemianWeasel comes to mind), so I see no reason yours shouldn't be there too. :)

I've bookmarked the link! I probably won't do my next sticker order until late May or early June, but it's definitely on the list. (About to be away for work for a month, and trying to cut down on the amount of post/packages stacking up in my absence.)
