Today I moved one of the sofas and hoovered under it. Under it, there was a cache of things stolen and concealed by Bungles. ( Read more... )
Darth Yamabungle
Jul. 9th, 2010 12:26 pmEver since we adopted him, Yama Bungle has been Mr Snottynose. Not only does he sneeze, he fires great gobs of snot about the place and needs his nose wiped. And a lot of the time he breathes like Darth Vader.

Where did that cat go...?
May. 18th, 2009 03:28 pmYama Bungle had to go in for his booster vaccs today: I was supposed to take him in at 10, only I was running late and couldn't, so phoned to postpone to 3:30pm. The little bugger was obviously taking notes while I made the call, he's gone into hiding!
I've just cancelled and booked him in again for 6:45pm. Nobody tell him.

Yama Bungle
Jan. 27th, 2009 08:10 pmYama Bungle has just been flirting with Kjetil cat. I'm so pleased with him (Yama). He did all the proper cat body language things, like not rushing in too fast, leaving the other cat space, and politely yawning and looking away then having a nice little game of paw-dabbing.
He did NOT rush in close and personal, sneeze, shove his nose where the sun does not shine, then give the other cat a clout to make him run and sit there giggling.
Maybe he is finally growing up!

A word signifying no
Feb. 15th, 2008 01:03 pmWe have decided to try to teach the Bengals a word that will carry the meaning 'Bungles! No!'.
They know the word 'no' (although they often ignore it) but so do all the other animals, so if you dive in crying 'NO!' then everyone present freezes or flees. As the Bungles are the most confident and bumptious animals in the house, they tend to assume that the 'no' is for someone else, whereas roughly 80% of the time, it's an attempt to stop Bungles doing what Bungles do best: mischief!
I need a nice short word that is distinctive and doesn't sound like no. I was thinking maybe 'Bast'.

Jan. 20th, 2008 11:42 amEarlier this year we added the two Bengals to our household of cats. Their integration has been...( quite interesting )
