Puncture Post again
Jul. 1st, 2008 01:49 pmYes, it's another tyre post. On Sunday, on my way home from Oldies Club camping (which was great fun by the way) I stopped at the White Horse of Uffington for a walk and to break the journey and realised I had a flat tyre!
It's the same one that was resealed in March, rear left. Fortunately, I had my marvelous cigarette lighter powered tyre pump, so I was able to pump it up and drive home. It seems to be staying up for the time being, but I am keeping a wary eye on it.
WHY DOES THE GOD OF TYRES HATE ME, WHY???
Also, I have just realised that I drove to Oxfordshire and back in a car without a current MOT. Oopsie. Booked in now.

Date: 2008-07-03 08:17 am (UTC)I had to replace a tyre at short notice on Saturday morning, before driving to Caerleon. Luckily I noticed it at the Morrisons by home as I was checking tyre pressures, so could drop in at the garage down the road.
I'm not sure what a sufficiently propitiating sacrifice would be. The burned remains of the tyres of your fallen enemies?
